Principal Report
Mr. Lehane
Today marks the end of Term 1 – wow, time has flown! It has certainly been a busy and exciting term.
Below are just some of the events and highlights we have enjoyed:
Grandparents and Special Friends Day
Our students are incredibly fortunate to have such dedicated and enthusiastic staff, who work hard to provide these wonderful experiences and opportunities.
On behalf of the staff of Bridgewater Primary School I would like to wish everyone a safe holiday break. I hope the holiday period provides everyone a much needed break, and time to enjoy their families.

Last week, we held our Annual General Meeting and elected a new School Council for 2026, including a number of new office bearers. Thank you to everyone who put their hand up to be a part of school council to help make our school the best it can be.
Congratulations to our new office bearers for 2026:
A special thank you to Leah Bailey, who after many years of dedicated service as School Council President, has decided to pass on the baton. Her leadership and commitment have helped guide the school over several years and played a significant role in shaping it into the school it is today. Leah's leadership and guidance to our school community have been invaluable. I would also like to thank Leah for making me feel welcome and supporting my transition into the Bridgewater community.
Thank you Mr. Stow for all of your efforts over the past two years. You energy and enthusiasm has had a huge impact of our students and school community.
Your ability to find ways to make learning hands on is outstanding and will be missed by all of our students.
We wish you all the best in your future endeavious and hope that you may one day return to Bridgewater Primary School.

School supplied lunches will continue on Mondays in Term 2.

Thank you to all of the families who purchased tickets in our Easter Raffle. We raised over $600 for our school.
A big thank you to everyone who donated and supported this fundraiser and a special thank you to Shannon for her efforts organising and coordinating the raffle.
