Dear Sacred Heart Community,

As we enter Holy Week, we remember Jesus’ journey of love, sacrifice, and hope. Palm Sunday invites us to welcome Jesus into our hearts and to live with kindness and compassion in all that we do.

Palm Sunday Prayer

Loving God,

help us to welcome Jesus each day

through our words and actions.

Guide us to be people of kindness,

bringing peace and hope to others.

As we journey through Holy Week,

guide us to follow Jesus with faith and courage,

and prepare our hearts for the joy of Easter.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Harmony Day Celebration

Thank you to all our families for your wonderful support of Harmony Day. It was a joy to see our children dressed in cultural attire or wearing a splash of orange, proudly celebrating their identity.

Today was a special celebration of our beautiful multicultural Sacred Heart community. As students shared their names and where they come from, we were reminded that we all come from different places, but we belong together.

We are very proud of our students for the respect, confidence, and joy they showed throughout the day, especially during the Cultural Dress Parade and activities.

The Rhythms and Instruments of West Africa drumming performance was a highlight, with students fully engaged and captivated.

A big thank you to Kate for organising the day, and to Marty for ensuring everyone was well informed and supported. Thank you also to our dedicated staff for their care and commitment in making the day so meaningful.

 Easter Bonnet (Hat) Parade 

Thursday 2nd April, 2026 

We are excited to celebrate our Easter Bonnet (Hat) Parade at 9:00am on Thursday 2nd April, 2026, in the Multipurpose Room.

Children can create their bonnets during Art Club on  Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week. You are also welcome to make one at home.

Please let us know if you need any materials or support, we are very happy to help.

Hats can be brought to school earlier in the week or on the day and left safely at school. Classroom teachers will keep a list to ensure all children have a hat for the parade.

Parents and families are warmly invited to attend. 

We look forward to seeing all the wonderful and creative bonnets (hats)!

Enrolments Open – Foundation 2027

Enrolments for Foundation 2027 are now open! We already have confirmed places and look forward to welcoming new families to our Sacred Heart community.

If you know families starting school in 2027, please encourage them to book a tour.
