Year 7 Humanities Students Are Solving Mysteries!

As an introduction to our units of history in year 7 our students have been learning about different types of historical evidence. These can come in the form of primary and secondary sources. Our students are putting this knowledge to good use, using evidence to solve a crime!
So, what happened? It was June 1941 and a body has been found. By examining the evidence left behind, such as photos, hotel receipts, letters, interviews and even a coroner’s report, our students were able to learn that our victim had been a spy during the war and met his untimely fate after his secret code had been broken.
Here we have students from 7J3 working their way through their mystery.
