2027 Subject Allocations and Transition Timetable Information

As we begin preparing for the 2027 school year, we would like to keep families informed of several important upcoming dates and processes that will support a smooth transition for students.

Students will be notified of their 2027 subject allocations over the Melbourne Cup long weekend. We encourage students and families to take time to review these allocations together. For students entering Year 11 and Year 12 in 2027, a subject change request period will be available from 4 November to 11 November.

Students commencing Year 12 in 2027 will also have a further opportunity to discuss any subject changes during the first week of classes in February, allowing time to ensure their program best supports their future pathways and goals.

On 23 November, students will receive their Transition 2027 timetable via email. This timetable will include their 2027 Homeroom allocation, helping students become familiar with their class arrangements ahead of the new school year. The Transition 2027 timetable will run from 25 November until 1 December.

To support student learning and access to programs across the College, Homeroom allocations have been carefully developed, taking into consideration specialist programs, elective subject choices, and broader timetabling requirements. As a result, requests to change Homeroom allocations will not be considered.

We appreciate the support of our families during this process and look forward to working together to ensure every student is well prepared, confident, and excited for the opportunities that await them in 2027.
