Congratulations to all students who participated in the Brunswick Show over the weekend. These outstanding results are a credit to the hard work, dedication, and countless hours students and staff invested throughout the year. It is always wonderful to see our students showcase their skills while representing Harvey Ag.

While our students are busy, staff have also been working hard behind the scenes. This week has involved reviewing applications and conducting interviews for the School Captain position, as well as assessing applications for a range of awards and scholarships. It is always encouraging to see the high-quality applications students submit as they plan for next year.

Professional learning has also featured prominently this week, with staff participating in sessions focused on budgeting and the National Framework for Addressing Bullying. Ongoing professional learning is an important part of ensuring we continue to provide the best possible educational environment for our students.

World Teachers' Day / Staff Appreciation Day

Today we celebrate World Teachers' Day, but at Harvey Ag we have taken the opportunity to recognise all staff through our own Staff Appreciation Day. Every person who works at the College contributes to the success of our students, whether in the classroom, residences, on the farm, in the workshops, kitchen, cleaners, administration, or student services. Their commitment, care, and dedication play an important role in creating the supportive environment that helps our students thrive.

To acknowledge our staff's incredible contribution, we enjoyed barista-made coffee, homemade biscuits, and individual appreciation certificates. While these are small gestures, they come with a very sincere thank you. The opportunities available to our students, and the positive culture that exists within our College community, are only possible because of the commitment, care, and professionalism of our staff.
