Junior School

Playground Update
There was plenty of excitement in the Junior School this week as students finally had the chance to try out the much-anticipated new climbing structure!
Scaling ropes and testing their balance and coordination, students wasted no time exploring the latest addition to their playground. Designed to encourage active play and confidence-building, the climbing structure is already proving to be a popular hit during recess and lunch.
It’s wonderful to see so much energy and adventure as our young students challenge themselves in new ways!
Junior School Cross Country
On Thursday 1 May, students from Years 3 to 6 laced up their runners and took part in the Junior School Cross Country Carnival alongside Senior School students. With the course stretching across a challenging distance, each student gave their all, pacing themselves with determination, pushing through fatigue, and demonstrating impressive perseverance from start to finish.
Despite the physical challenge, the atmosphere was filled with energy and encouragement. Students could be heard cheering loudly for their peers, with the strong sense of College spirit and camaraderie unmistakable throughout the day.
Congratulations to Cowan House, who were crowned the Junior School champions for 2025. In the combined Junior and Senior School competitions, O’Connor House claimed overall Interhouse Cross Country Championship honours.
Well done to all students for their effort, resilience and sportsmanship!
