HOUSE ATHLETICS
We were set up on the junior back oval at the recreation reserve, bathed in sunlight and ready for a great day of robust competition in track and field events.
The students were amazing dressed in their house colours, giving it their all over the course of the day. The level of competition was high, and it was fantastic to see the look on students’ faces after some of their accomplishments along the way.
The big question was who would win the House Shield?
Well, the mighty Banyard took out the overall event, with Walsh and Keily in second and third.
Congratulations to Banyard and all those that helped contribute to their amazing result.
Picking the Spirit of St Francis award, for the student showing great leadership, compassion, enthusiasm, kindness, helpful and trying their best all day was a very difficult decision. We were seeing so many students across all levels showing many of these attributes over the course of the day.
The winner of the award (and thoroughly deserved) is Monica Pavlic Briggs, sensational effort from her.
Then we had the age group champions, and a big congratulations to all who received these awards. (see below)

The P&F for their outstanding work with food and drinks.
All the class teachers and LSO’s who accompanied their groups around all day were amazing as they have been all year.
