Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program

Our senior students had fun making pasta from scratch this term, first using the pasta machine to make fettuccini and then having a go at farfalle (butterfly) pasta. So much easier to make a big batch of pasta when there are lots of little hands to help make it.

Now the days are getting longer and with the hope of sunshine, we have lots of seeds in pots ready for our summer crops. Tomatoes, zucchini, cucumber, basil and sunflowers. At the moment our broad beans, snow peas, lettuces, silverbeet and spring onions are filling our garden beds.

We also worked on beautiful modern botanical watercolours for the Nathalia Show.
