Anzac Day - Scalabrini Village Griffith

For several years, Marian Catholic College has proudly partnered with Scalabrini Village Griffith to support their Anzac Day Service, held within the nursing home dining room.

Each year, students from Years 9–12 are invited to volunteer their time to help ensure residents can participate in this important commemoration without needing to leave the facility.

This year, Stella McMillan (Year 9), Dahab Abbas (Year 10), and Miranda Aventi (Year 11) generously gave their time for this meaningful occasion. They were outstanding representatives of the College, reading with confidence and clarity for the residents. Their willingness to serve others in this way reflects a sense of leadership and embodies the College’s core value of Service, as expressed in our mission.

We are grateful to Scalabrini Village for the opportunity to be part of this special community event and look forward to continuing this valued partnership in the years to come.
