大  家  好 (dà  jiā  hǎo, Hello Everyone) and welcome back!

It has been so great seeing you all and starting our Chinese language journey for 2026! So far we have explored how we can be amazing learners at ENPS by being Responsible, Resilient, Curious, Reflective and amazing Communicators in Mandarin. 

We have also begun organising our books for the coming year with front covers that reflect the upcoming year of the Horse or ourselves as learners. Did you know that 2026 is the year of the Fire Horse? 

The Horse represents energy, passion, freedom, and rapid, transformative change; something I’m sure we will see in students at ENPS as they settle into their learning!

Can’t wait for our coming weeks exploring Chinese New Year and the Year of the Horse!
