Year Two

A Terrific Start to Year Two

Welcome to Year Two! Over Weeks One and Two, we focused on getting to know our teachers, our classrooms, and building new friendships. We spent time revisiting our school values of safe, kind and respectful, and explored the learner attributes of responsible, curious, communicators, resilient and reflective. Students enjoyed reading a range of mentor texts, which inspired rich conversations and helped bring these values and attributes to life through sharing ideas, discussions, acting out scenarios, and collaborating to create our own class books.

We are so proud of how confidently and enthusiastically students have stepped into Year Two. We’re looking forward to a terrific year of learning together!
