Regional Cross Country (Hastings)

Four students proudly represented CSPS at the Regional Cross Country on Wednesday – a fantastic achievement! A huge congratulations to Yuval for finishing third and earning the opportunity to compete at the State Cross Country next term. Well done!

“It was a good day for running. The course was good. The race was fun. I enjoyed the day!  I came 25th out of 76.” Josh G (5B)

“I came 20th. I enjoyed the day and competing against good runners. I didn’t really like the course; I’d prefer a course with more hills and grass.” Leni B (5B)

“It was a fun experience. I raced against some kids I know, it was tough competition. I slipped at the start. I came 3rd out of 76. I can now go to the state cross country which is on the 26th of July at Yarra Valley. I am going to keep training hard.”  Yuval (5B)

“I really enjoyed running against extremely good runners. I had lots of fun competing and I really liked the course near the water.” Leni (6A)

Winter Lightning Premiership

All Year 5/6 students recently took part in the Caulfield & District Winter Lightning Premiership. A heartfelt thank you to parents Erin Thomson and Dave Gelbart for generously volunteering their time to help support our teams. Students competed in T-Ball, Australian Rules Football, netball or soccer. It was a fantastic day for all involved! ‘The A team’ in Australian Rules were successful on the day. They will now progress to the Division finals which will be held at Bonbeach on 25th July.
