School Wide Positive Behaviour (SWPBS)at CSPS

Our whole school focus for the few weeks has been around Transition times and how we can demonstrate our school values during those times. Transition times refers to times when we move between classes and activities (both in and out of the classroom).
Over the past few weeks, both students and teachers have been working hard to improve how we transition around the school.
Below is how we apply our school values during those times:
- Positivity: We reset our mindset and get ready before the next lesson or activity.
- Respect: We move quietly to not disturb the learning of others.
- Integrity: We stay with our teacher.
- Determination: We arrive at school on time and ready to learn.
- Excellence: We line up in an agreed order. We walk and stay in our lines and keep to the left when walking through the school buildings.
Our school matrices help us understand and practise these behaviours, making CSPS a safe, respectful and predictable place where everyone can learn and thrive.
As the students in Years 3 to 6 will be participating in a school incursion on Cyber Safety next week, the next matrix we will introduce will focus on how to demonstrate our school values when we are online.
