Multicultural Day

Wow! What an amazing day was had by all. Between the rain, hail, thunder and sunshine we managed to complete all the wonderful activities of our Multicultural Day.

A HUGE thank you to Signora Anderson who prepared a day full of diverse activities which culminated in an energy-packed African Drumming session.

We'd also like to thank our volunteers who assisted with the activities and of course all those involved in feeding the hordes of hungry children.

Can't wait until next year's festivities!

Prep 2024 Transition

On Monday we had our first Transition session for our Preps of 2024. There was lots of excitement and a few tears yet all children came out smiling and eager to show their parents what they had created.

It is always wonderful to welcome new families and re-acquaint with our existing families who have children commencing next year.

Our next Year Prep  2024 Transition session is on Tuesday 14th November commencing at 2:00 pm.

Swimming Program

Our Year Prep-4 Swimming Program commences next Monday 30th October and will run for seven (7) consecutive days at the Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre.

Swimming is part of the Physical Education curriculum and it is expected that all students attend.  Students will travel to and from the venue by bus each day and each lesson runs for 43 minutes.

Details have been sent home to families via Operoo.

Over the two-week period, there will be timetable changes to accommodate the program. For your reference, an abridged Week 5 and Week 6 program is detailed below:

PFA Meeting

Our next PFA meeting will be held on Tuesday 14th November at 6:30 pm with the main focus of the agenda being our end-of-year picnic celebrations. Hope to see you there.

School Closure Days

Please be reminded that next Friday 3rd November and Monday 6th November are School Closure Days: Staff Professional Development Days and students do NOT attend school. With Tuesday 7th November being a public holiday (Melbourne Cup day) it makes it a very short week.
