Food Technology –
Sharing Kindness Through Food
This week, our students had the opportunity to combine their practical cooking skills with an act of kindness by preparing and gifting homemade food items to their teachers.
Students prepared various delicious treats, taking pride in producing high-quality food while following safe food handling practices. The activity provided students with valuable experience in food preparation while also highlighting the important role food plays in bringing people together.
The gift-giving experience encouraged students to reflect on how food can be used to express gratitude and appreciation. Teachers were delighted to receive the thoughtful gifts, and students enjoyed seeing the positive impact of their efforts.
We are incredibly proud of the care and generosity our students demonstrated throughout this activity across different year levels. It was a wonderful reminder that food is not only a source of nourishment but also a meaningful way to connect with and show appreciation for others.
Happy Holidays!
