Parents & Friends' (PFA)

The school disco was a great success. Special thanks to Anna-Marie and Bec from Jnr TB for such a fantastic event along with all the wonderful parent volunteers who worked tirelessly to make the event a success. A big shout out to the Siegrist family who very generously donated the sausages. Bread for the sausage sizzle was once again donated by Bakers Delight in Carnegie. Please support Baker’s Delight in any way you can as they are always very generous to our school for all events. The children were all delighted with a special unexpected visit from the Fire Brigade which made the night even more fun for young and old. 

The DJ did an amazing job of keeping both kids and parents entertained and everyone got to showcase their dance moves.

The Grill’d Local Matters jar was in Grill’d Carnegie for the month of August. Thanks to all families who visited Grill’d during August. The St. Anthony's jar was runner up this year which means we will get $100 donated to our school. Well done everyone!

We hope the dads and special people enjoyed the Fathers' Day Breakfast. It was a great morning enjoyed by everyone. Who doesn’t love the coffee van and an egg and bacon roll! Thanks so much to Rosaline and Monika from the 5/6 class as well as all their helpers Linda, Kate, Naobh, Nat, Kath, Anakin and Grace who got the Padua all organised on the morning  of the breakfast.

Thanks also to the volunteers who helped with the stall. The kids came home with packed bags full of treats for dad! From grooming kits to dad mugs and dad joke toilet paper, there was a vast array of gifts available and hopefully the dads were happy with their haul!

We look forward to running a raffle at the school concert on Wednesday 18th September. Tickets for the raffle will be sent home and be available at the door on the night; more information to follow via WhatsApp groups closer to the event. If any families would like to make any donations towards the raffle, please contact the PFA via email: pfa@santglen.catholic.edu.au or drop directly to the school office.
