Geoff Herkes Memorial

On Sunday, our student musicians will be taking the stage for the Ballarat Jazz Club at the Ballarat Golf Club from 2pm to 4:30pm for the Geoff Herkes Memorial Concert.

This concert is a highlight of the performing arts calendar and features many of our students celebrating the art of improvisation.

We thank the Ballarat Jazz Club for its generous sponsorship of this event and the ongoing support they provide to our student musicians.

Improvisation is a key musical skill and this collaboration is a wonderful recognition of its importance and the lasting legacy that Geoff (a former teacher) was so proud to initiate.
