Dental Van Visit

We have partnered with Australian Smile Group!

Australian Smile Group provides dental services under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) via Medicare Bulk Billing, meaning there is no out-of-pocket cost. CDBS provides financial funding of $1558 per child every 2 calendar years for eligible children between the ages of 0-17 years.  

Today, each child will bring home a Consent and Medical History Form to be completed and returned to the school should you wish to utilise this service for your child.

The Australian Smile Group Dental Van will be visiting our school the week beginning 22nd June 2026, which is the last week of Term 2.

We ask that the completed Consent and Medical History Forms be returned to the school office by Friday, 24th May.

Enrolments

Enrolments are now being taken for Year Prep 2027. If you have a child starting Prep next year, we kindly ask you to  complete an enrolment form online  via our website https://www.cckingsville.catholic.edu.au/enrolment-information/enrolment/

Alternatively, you can collect an enrolment form from the School Office.

Once enrolment forms are received, a "Get to Know You Interview' is scheduled, after which places are offered.

Should you know of other families seeking enrolment for Prep 2027, we kindly ask that you refer them to our school. Families can easily book a School Tour via our website.

SMS - Unexplained Absences

Please note that families will now receive a text message (rather than an email) for all unexplained absences. 

If your child is absent from school and no explanation has been provided, you will receive an automated text message from the school requesting clarification. These messages are sent to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students and to keep our attendance records accurate.

If you receive a message regarding an unexplained absence, you are requested to contact the school office immediately.

Every absence must be accounted for. The simplest way to notify the school of your child’s absence is by submitting an absence note through the nForma Parent Portal.

Building Update

We're nearly there!

Construction is nearly complete, with internal works now finished aside from a few final touch-ups. External paving is also nearing completion and is looking fantastic. Over the coming days, we’ll be finalising connections to services, completing the roofing, installing the building signage and some basic landscaping.

It’s an exciting time for our school community, and we’re looking forward to moving back into the new building within the next two weeks!

School Photos

Our school photo day is scheduled for Tuesday, 12th May. The children need to wear their summer uniforms.

Boys: Blue short sleeve shirt, grey shorts, grey socks, black shoes

Girls: Summer dress, white socks, black shoes (stockings/tights are not to be worn)

Jumpers may be worn throughout the day but will be removed for the photos. The Student Leaders, Sports Leaders and Social  Justice Leaders need to wear their badges for photos.

As per our policy, long hair is to be tied back using blue/black or white hair accessories!

Photos commence at 9:00 am sharp, so please have children at school on time and present them neatly.

We understand that on this day, some classes have PE. Children can bring a pair of runners to change into later if they choose.

Mothers' Day Breakfast & Stall

This Friday, 8th May we will celebrate all the mothers, grandmothers and other special ladies in our lives with our annual Mothers' Day events.

From 8:00 am until 8:45 am Egg and Bacon Rolls, will be served and  hopefullly we will have a coffee van on-site.

Best you all 'rug -up' as it might be a little cooler than we have beocme used to.

Around 9:15 am our Mothers' Day Stall will commence.

Children will be able to purchase a special 'surprise' gift for their mums or special people in their lives for $5.00.

Winter Uniform

All children will need to be wearing the full winter uniform from the week beginning Monday 18th May.
