National Simultaneous Storyline 2026

Dear families,

We are excited to announce that NSS 2026 is coming soon! 

Wednesday 27th May 12 noon   

This year’s book is: 

LUNA ROO: The Kangaroo Baller by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd

It tells the underdog story of Luna, a young kangaroo who becomes the rookie captain of FC Outback. Courage, teamwork and self-belief are highlighted as Luna overcomes her nerves in a competitive soccer match against Bush United.

The book will be read by Elise Kellond Knight, a former Matildas midfielder, live-streamed to classrooms so we can all enjoy the story together. Students will also participate in a range of activities related to the book.

TO BUILD EXCITEMENT FOR THE EVENT, STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO WEAR A SPORTS JERSEY 

(soccer, footy, basketball) 

OVER THEIR SCHOOL UNIFORM ON 

Wednesday 27th May. 

Soccer will take centre stage in the playground and the week will culminate in a staff v students soccer match on Friday, 29th May.
