Prep Learning Reflection
Prep Newsletter Update Week 1 - 2
It has been wonderful to welcome everyone back after the two-week break! The students have settled straight back into our learning routines and it has been fantastic to see them refreshed, enthusiastic and ready to learn.
In Systemic Knowledge, we have been exploring the Earth's resources and investigating what these look like in our own school environment. In Maths, we have been learning to distinguish between -teen and -ty numbers. In Literacy, we have been learning two new sounds, /ch/ and /tch/, as well as /sh/ and continuing to build our reading and writing skills.
A few reminders as the weather warms up:
- Hats: Students must wear a hat during outdoor play and break times. Please ensure your child brings their hat to school each day.
- Home readers: Please remember to pack your child's home reader in their school bag every day so we can continue building consistent reading habits at school and at home.
