TRACK & FIELD

AIC Track & Field Championships

AIC Track & Field Meet #1 is scheduled for Thursday, 3 September, at the State Athletics Facility (SAF), Nathan.
The meet is open to all students who wish to qualify for the AIC T&F Championships, to be held, Week 1, Term 4.
AIC T&F meets are run as time trials/selection meets.
A bus will be provided to and from T&F each week.
Boys are requested to use the bus sign-on sheet located outside the Primary Sports office if they wish to catch the bus.
The bus will depart from the College Bus stop @ 1:30pm and return @ 5:00pm (approx.), return details will be posted on the College APP.
If your son catches the bus and you collect him, it is very important to ensure you inform a staff member.
All Years 5&6 boys are welcome to attend track training sessions.
AIC Championships, Friday & Saturday, October 9 & 10
Boys should be available to train during Term 3 holidays.

Please ensure that you download the College APP to your smart phone. This app will be used weekly to inform you of sporting fixtures, cancellations and bus arrival information.

"Plan B" – Boarding Reception

Training sessions finish by 4:45pm. We ask that boys are picked up at this time, or soon after, as any boy who is still at their training venue at 5:00pm will be directed to the Boarding Reception area so that he may be collected from there.
In the case of bus arrivals, boys will be sent to Boarding Reception 15 minutes after the arrival time of the bus.

COVID-19 INFORMATION

All students are expected to be in the correct Marist College playing uniform.

COVID SAFE

Parents and school buses are to drop off/pick-up at the designated areas only.
(Please refer to the COVID Safe plans for each venue)
All students are to meet at their designated assembly point to avoid co-mingling between other groups.
Please do not arrive at the venue before your designated time.
Please follow all instructions and signage in regard to entry and exit points.
Come to the venue already dressed in your playing uniform.
All players, coaches and staff are encouraged to wash hands prior to attending the venue.
All players coaches and staff are to use the hand sanitiser provided, before during and after the match.
Spectators, coaches, officials and staff, must check-in or register.
Please check out when you depart.

Players and spectators (2 per player) are asked to leave the venue immediately after their match. Please do not congregate and co-mingle with other groups.
