First of all, congratulations to all the boys who competed this weekend for Marist in Chess, Rugby and Football. It was a very successful start to this modified season for most teams. With senior football and rugby teams out at Ipswich to facing strong winds and opposition. However, the 1st XI Football were able to overcome these challenges and beat Eddies in a convincing 7-0. The boys put together a strong performance, running Eddies off the pitch and not giving them any chances in front of goal. The Second XI were also able to get a win, beating Eddies 4-2. We now go into a tough round against St Pats, which will be one of our toughest games. We would like to remind all of you to keep following the COVID guidelines that St Pats will put out and also the ones we have for any games at home this week. Good luck to all teams competing this weekend.
