A great start across the entire program for Round 1 against St. Edmund’s. We did not lose a single game in our matches with SEC while winning 20 out of 27 games across the entire program. There were some good signs of improvement from our trials with teams now starting to settle down for the season.
This weekend St. Patrick’s College are our opponents and will host all Ashgrove vs. SPC rugby matches at Curlew Park, Shorncliffe. These “full days” against our main opposition are always exciting and a great way for all Year 5-12 rugby players to engage together while still following Covid-19 guidelines. There will still be several teams have matches on McMahon and Hayden oval as they play their games from their own “pools”.
