2019 VTAC Applications:

Year 12 students who wish to apply for a course of study at either University or TAFE for 2019 should have their applications submitted by 5pm 27 September. The VTAC Application fee is $36.

Students who apply after 27 September will be charged $105 to submit their applications. All VTAC application fees should be paid by Wednesday 31 October.

 

SEAS APPLICATIONS:

There are four categories within the Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS). They cover personal information and location, disadvantaged financial background, disability or medical condition and difficult circumstances. Category 1 has seven subcategories.

 

The cut-off date for applying for SEAS is 5pm on 12th October. All evidence needs to be submitted to VTAC by this date.  Supporting Evidence will not be accepted after this time.

Monash University: Medicine (School Leaver Entry), Medicine (CSP Extended Rural Cohort School Leaver Entry).

 

YEAR 12 – EARLY ENTRY CLOSING DATES

 

Choose Clever Expo, La Trobe University: This expo is open to Year 12 students and their families and is ideal for students who are yet to finalise their VTAC preferences. Students will be able to participate in hands-on course focussed workshops and hear from a current student and alumni working within the industry. Year 11 students are also welcome to attend.

 

Workshops are running in the following course areas:

  • Agricultural Science
  • Physiotherapy
  • Engineering
  • Exercise Science
  • Cybersecurity
  • Business
  • Law & Criminology
  • Creative Arts (Visual Arts)

2018 – (UVP) UNSCORED VCE PROGRAM 

Current Year 12 VCE students who have opted for an unscored VCE will be required to complete an 8-day program with the Careers team from Monday 8 October to Wednesday 17 October. Students in this program will be undertaking a range of activities such as Resume Writing workshop, Work Ready training session, a mock interview at an external organization, a presentation from The Victoria Police & The Young Workers Centre on Youth Work Conditions and a range of different certificates such as RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol), White Card training & First Aid training.  Students will be given further information on class activities & times before the end of the term.
