A few reminders for this week's Rowing Newsletter.

• Senior rowers are encouraged to be available for House Mentoring in Week 8 this term. Could senior rowers please see me with their availability for Monday and Wednesday afternoons. You will be working with Year 8 Rowers in preparation for the House Regatta.
   
• Thank you for making your bookings for the Presentation Night. You can still book through the Team App (News Tab). This night is for all Year 9 – 12 Rowers. Please note tickets are for sale for parents and rowers. Book here: www.trybooking.com/946420 
   
• Congratulations to the wonderful efforts from Year 8 Rowers. Your attendance has been fantastic and development in technique really coming along.
   
• Strength and Conditioning Sessions – Monday and Wednesday afternoons 3:30pm – 4:30 pm. These sessions will not be open to both males and females. Excellent uptake from our male rowers.
   
• Expressions of interest will be called soon to any rowers that are interested in taking part in our Nationals Program (in preparation for the National Rowing Competition in March 2023.

House Regatta

As our Rowing season for 2022 comes to an end, it is a wonderful time to come together and celebrate all the successes we have been involved in.  

Although the program is still ticking away with Years 7 and 8 students involved in the sport, we can now look forward to our final regatta of the year.

Our House Regatta is a wonderful event where we can enjoy a small scale event to welcome in the new and farewell our outgoing rowers in a fun environment. The details for our House Regatta are as follows:

• Date: 17 September 2022
• Time: 8:00am start and concludes at 11:00am
• Venue: Canning Bridge, John XXIII College Rowing Shed

If you cannot attend this regatta, could you please notify me Lorrelle.fortune@cewa.edu.au asap, otherwise you will be placed in races.

Presentation Evening

We will celebrate as a rowing community on 17 September 2022.  All details can be accessed through the link below. This will be a wonderful event where a formal presentation will take place for rowing awards and certificates of recognition.
