Year 7/8 Boys Hockey

The Year 7 and 8 Boys Hockey Team represented the College at the interschool competition on Thursday, 21st August. On the day, the team had the opportunity to play one match against Wheelers Hill Secondary College.

Wheelers Hill proved to be a highly skilled and well-organised side, quickly taking control of the game and building a four-goal lead by half-time. Despite the tough start, our boys demonstrated the College value of resilience. They began working together more effectively as a team, closing down Wheelers Hill’s key players and lifting their intensity. Their hard work paid off, with the second half finishing in a 2–2 draw. Both goals for the College were scored by Toby Gow, who showed great composure in front of goal.

A special mention goes to Charlie Gow, whose encouragement, leadership, and deep knowledge of the game helped guide and inspire the team throughout the day.

Year 7 & 8 Girls Basketball

On Thursday 21st of August, the 7/8 girls basketball team competed at Oakleigh Rec Centre against Wheelers Hill, Brentwood, and Wellington. We learnt the importance of perseverance when facing tough competition and worked together to support one another on and off the court.
