This week in Prep...

We celebrated 100 Days of Prep! We are so proud of how far our Preps have come in just 100 days. It feels like only yesterday they were walking through the classroom door on their very first day!

To celebrate, we all dressed up as 100-year-olds (teachers included!), enjoyed a delicious jelly cake kindly made by Trish, and took home party bags. Students were also presented with a special certificate to commemorate this exciting milestone.

We spent the rest of the day taking part in lots of fun 100-themed activities, including counting 100 objects and imagining what we would do with $100. One of my favourite responses was that they would "buy a park!" Their creativity certainly kept us smiling.

Reminders

• Homework: Please ensure homework folders are returned every Friday. This allows us to update readers so your child can continue making great progress on their reading journey.

• Fruit Break: Please pack a piece of fruit or vegetables each day for students to enjoy during fruit break.

• Labelling Uniform: Please label all jumpers, hats and water bottles. We have had quite a few items go missing recently, and having names on belongings makes it much easier to return them to their rightful owners.

Finally, Zach and I would like to say a heartfelt thank you for your ongoing support over the last 100 days (and counting!). Your involvement and encouragement at home make a huge difference to your child's learning, confidence and enjoyment of school. We truly appreciate being able to work in partnership with such a wonderful group of families.
