What's been happening this week?

PUSH AND PULL FORCES

The 1/2’s have been looking at push and pull forces in science. This week they have been exploring whether different craft materials can also use push and pull forces. We even had a look at our robots and programmed them to move around the classroom and under mini bridges. 

MEASUREMENT

The Year 3/4 students have been exploring measurement this week. They learned about different units of measurement, with a particular focus on comparing centimetres (cm) and millimetres (mm). Students enjoyed applying their knowledge to real-life situations by measuring a variety of objects around the classroom. It was wonderful to see them using their measuring skills with confidence and enthusiasm.

PERFORMANCE PREPARATION

Preps have been learning the lyrics and dance steps for their performance at assembly. 

Grade 5/6 learning presented their characters to the class.
