PURPLE CAULIFLOWER!!

Well, Holy Family has possibly grown one of the largest purple cauliflower’s ever! Last week, those who attended attended Garden club were were lucky enough to see this incredible vegetable growing so beautifully and with such a striking bright colour. We let it grow for another week and decided to propagate today. 1W, who have absolutely smashed the sticker tree challenge each week since term 2, were the lucky recipients of the purple cauliflower and got to take a piece home each. Congratulations, 1W and thank you for caring about our environment so much!

We are indebted to the Avila girls who have helped us to keep control of the weeds, as well as Lee who is continue to be challenged by the spring weather as he tries to finish our new garden beds. They are almost finished. Have a wonderful fortnight and please come along if you are free and would like to on Wednesdays from 1:50-2:20pm.
