What's happening in Years 10, 11 and 12.
This year has been an incredible journey for our senior students, filled with accomplishments, growth, and unforgettable experiences.
Our Year 12 cohort displayed impressive teamwork and camaraderie on various excursions, sporting events and camp. Through these experiences, students strengthened their bonds with each other, building a supportive and close-knit community that has made their final year truly memorable. The dedication shown in their studies, along with their cooperative efforts with teachers, has set a strong foundation as they prepare for the next chapter.
Our Year 11 students also made remarkable strides in their VCE studies, showing resilience and determination. It has been rewarding to see their hard work at school, and TAFE for our VCE VM students, translate into some outstanding results. This reflects their commitment to success and personal growth. As they pave the way for their Year 12 journey, they are already setting a high standard.
Year 10 students enthusiastically embraced opportunities to explore pathways for their futures. From TAFE experiences to university taster days and even work experience, they took every chance to broaden their horizons and begin exploring the possibilities that lie ahead. Their enthusiasm and openness to new experiences have been inspiring.
Across all year levels, students have been role models in demonstrating respectful behaviours and positive attitudes, showcasing the learning behaviours that make our school community proud. These efforts have been rewarded with fun excursions, including ice skating, trampolining, and even a snowy adventure.
One of the most exciting highlights of the year was the Year 11 and 12 soccer tournament. The games showcased incredible soccer skills and teamwork, with players giving their all on the field. The matches were filled with high energy and fierce competition, creating an exhilarating experience for everyone watching and cheering from the sidelines.
Graduation night for our class of 2024 was a wonderful night, celebrating all of the hard work of our year 12 cohort.
The Year 11-12 Formal was another highlight of the year. It was a night of celebration, where students and staff alike enjoyed an evening of laughter, music, and dancing. It was heartwarming to see everyone come together, enjoy each other’s company, and make memories that will last a lifetime.
As we reflect on the achievements, dedication, and spirit displayed by our senior students this year, we look forward to seeing them carry these qualities with them into the future. They have truly set an example for the rest of the school community.
