YEAR 11 NEWS

Year 11 Update – A Strong Finish to Term 1
As we wrap up a busy and successful term, I would like to take a moment to sincerely thank our Year 11 students who generously gave their time to support our recent Open Night. Your willingness to stay late, represent the college, and engage with our community was outstanding. You showcased not only your pride in Wyndham College, but also your maturity and leadership. Well done, you did a fantastic job.
As we move into the cooler months, a reminder that students should now ensure they have the correct school uniform. The Yeronga uniform shop is fully stocked with Wyndham College jumpers and hoodies. Please note that non-school jumpers are no longer permitted. If students are feeling particularly cold, they are encouraged to layer appropriately by wearing plain, long-sleeve tops under their school shirt, and pants or tights under skirts.
Looking ahead, the Year 11 Assessment Block will commence on the first day back next term. Students will have a range of assessment tasks due within the first three weeks across all of their subjects. The upcoming holidays are an important opportunity to catch up on any missed work and to prepare. We strongly encourage students to make use of the Edrolo app for revision and to continue developing their Cornell notes, as practised during our study skills sessions.
Congratulations also to our outstanding Wolverines sports teams who have represented Wyndham College with pride throughout Term 1. A special acknowledgement to our Sports Coaching students, who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment in their roles this term.
I wish all students and their families a safe and restful break, and a very happy Easter. A reminder that students will return to school after the two School Development Days, with all students commencing on Wednesday 22 April, following a Week B timetable.
We look forward to another successful term ahead.
