100 Days of School

Everyone dressed up like 100 years old. We had fairy bread and chocolate and vanilla cake. We had to bring 100 things. I brought chalk. We counted them all by 10's and we put them on the court. We also watched a movie called UP and we had a parade and photos taken. We had walking sticks and we only point them to the floor because if we point them up we might hurt someone. We had some ballons what say 100 and they were rainbow. In 100 days I have learned about counting by 10s and letters and reading and feelings and reading books. We also played some games and went outside. We had a great day.

NAIDOC WEEK

It is a celebration for the Aboriginal People. We played a game and watched Naidoc celebrations. We learned a song and we sing a song. We read a book and we draw with chalk, but they kept snapping. I made a snake. Jack made an emu.

 Crazy Hair Day

On Thursday before holidays we had Crazy Hair Day. I had sparkles and spikes. Billie P had a monster on the back of her head. Tanner T had a motorbike hair. Xander has a blue and red mohawk. We did a parade and we walked around the basketball court. We did musical chairs and played music and went crazy!

Year 6 Carwash!

On the 20th of August (Week 7), our year six students will be washing cars for our school community to raise money for their "Fun Day Out".  The price of a car wash is $10, and you can book in to a morning or afternoon session via the link below.

Science Fair

Our student Council have expressed that they would like to have a science fair as our Integrated curriculum subject this term is science. This will take place on the 15th of September (Last week of school). Students can start working on a science project of their choice at home with their family or friends and bring it in to display and present at the fair. This event is not cumpulsory, just if students would like to participate.  Please get in touch with Miss Pem if you have any questions.
