2025 Parents and Friends News
Hey all, hope you are enjoying the change in weather, great time to head to the snow or go to some warmer climate over the mid year break.
Term 2
Mothers Day Brekkie:
This year, we trialled a fresh new format for our Mother’s Day Breakfast, offering a delicious spread of croissants and danishes. The event was warmly received, and we were lucky the weather held off, allowing everyone to enjoy the morning. Thanks to the wonderful support of our community, we raised $620, which the Junior School Council proudly donated to The Good Shepherd Society.
Honey Drive:
Our annual Honey Drive was another success, now in its 8th year! We were once again grateful to partner with Peninsula Honey, who provided their signature amber nectar. This year, we introduced a few new varieties including Banksia and Orange Blossom which proved to be crowd favourites. We also expanded our offering to include lip balm and hand cream, both of which were very well received. Thanks to the community’s support, we raised approximately $700. We will decide on the distribution of funds at our next meeting in August.
