Welcome to New Staff

Jin Ai Tan - Business Manager

I am honoured to join Oxley’s Executive team this year.

With over 20 years of finance experience in the Education sector, I am passionate to see the continued growth of Christian education within our community.

At work, I enjoy simplifying complicated work processes and increasing efficiency. The motto of ‘Not just work hard but work smart’ has stuck with me throughout my career. I look forward to getting to know this dynamic team at Oxley and working with everyone.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, exploring new eateries, spending time with my family and my little fur baby.

New Sport Uniform Items

We are pleased to introduce two new pieces of clothing to the Senior School Sport Uniform range.

The first item is a Rugby Top, and the second is a rain jacket (listed as Jacket Outdoor).

Both items are optional for students to wear but will be useful to help alleviate the cold when participating in outdoor sport activities during periods of cold and wet Melbourne weather.

Rugby Top: to be worn under the sport jacket (listed as Jacket – Soft Shell) for added warmth only when permitted to wear the Sport uniform. May not be worn without the Jacket – Soft Shell when travelling to and from school.
Jacket – Outdoor: to be worn over the Jacket – Soft Shell. May only be worn outside for added weather protection.

Please note the following rules regarding use of the rugby top, sport jacket (softshell jacket and outdoor spray jacket:

The rugby top is a Sport uniform item and should only be worn when the Sport uniform is permitted.
The rugby top must be worn under the sport jacket (soft shell jacket) for added warmth and may not be worn without the sport jacket when travelling to and from school.
The outdoor spray jacket must be worn over the sport jacket (soft shell) and must not be worn on its own.

Currently, the Rugby Top is only available for Senior School students.

Please refer to the Student Uniform Policy and Uniform Price List available on the Parent Portal. Both items are in stock at the Bob Stewart Uniform Shop.

Enrolments

2025

We have limited vacancies for next year and would encourage you to submit your Enrolment Application Form as soon as possible if you wish your child to be considered for a place.

2026

We are now accepting enrolments for 2026 and beyond (particularly Prep and Year 7) and look forward to hearing from you if you wish to enrol your child(ren).

Notice to Withdraw

Parents are reminded of their obligation to give the College one full term’s notice, in writing to the Principal, if their children are not continuing at Oxley Christian College. The lack of one term’s notice will result in the payment of one term’s Tuition Fees.

It is also a legal requirement for you to inform us of the school to which your child’s enrolment is transferring.

Non Resident Visa Holders and New Australian Citizens

For school reporting requirements, please inform the Registrar (clewis@oxley.vic.edu.au) if there have been any changes to you or your child’s residency Visa for Australia. For example:

1. you or your child have recently become Australian Citizens;

2. you or your child have been granted a new Visa; or

3. your current Visas have expired and you are now on Bridging Visas.

The College will require evidence of the change in Visa status for the student and at least one parent, e.g. Australian Citizenship Certificate, Australian Passport, or a copy of your new Visa(s).
