HARMONY DAY is comming!

Harmony Day is an Australian annual event. At SJV it will be held on Friday the 20th March. It is a day we  celebrate cultural diversity, inclusiveness, and respect. It promotes the message that "everyone belongs" and encourages community participation to foster a sense of belonging.  It is a very special day in our SJV community.

Key details about Harmony Day:

  • Date: Friday 20th March
  • Purpose: The day aims to celebrate St John Vianney's rich cultural diversity and encourage community, school to foster a sense of belonging and inclusivity for everyone.
  • Dress up: Wear something special that represents your culture or wear something orange
  • Parade: 2.30pm there will be a whole school parade on the assembly area - all families welcome

What does this mean for SJV:

 

We are looking for parents to support classes throughout the day. All you need is a Working with Children to volunteer. A sign up sheet will be sent home next week.
