This year at St. Anthony’s Harmony Day will be celebrated on Thursday 19th March (Week 8).

The SRC group have been working hard over the last few weeks to plan events to celebrate in style.

Traditionally, the colour ORANGE represents social communication, meaningful conversations and freedom of ideas. All students are encouraged to wear a touch of orange or their traditional cultural dress on this day.

Some of the exciting events happening on the day include:

CAKE STALL

Parents are invited to bring a sweet treat for us to sell on the day. These can be brought to the office in the morning at school drop off time.

Some ideas of things that the students love  include: frog in a pond/ cupcakes/ brownies/ fruit sticks and honey joys.

Please make sure that all food brought includes a list of ingredients used

Cost of items will range from 50c to $2.00

GUESS THE LOLLIES IN THE LOLLY JAR

Students will be able to buy a ticket to guess how many lollies are in the jar. The closest student to the exact amount wins the yummy Lolly Jar treat!

Ticket cost is 50c per guess or 3 for $1.00

DISCO (FREE ENTRY)

Students will be able to get their groove on and have a boogie at the disco

BRACELET MAKING, GLITTER JARS AND BLOOKET (FREE ENTRY)

GUESS THE BABY

Both students and staff are encouraged to bring in a baby photo for our wall that we are going to create. This will be done in grades P-2, 3/4 and 5/6 and staff.

Please send in photos with the students name labelled on the back of the photo.

These need to be brought to school in an envelope and handed into the classroom teacher.

The SRC students will have this on display and ready for the day!

Ticket cost is 20c per entry! Prizes to be won!

We will have a shared lunch on the Green and all students will have their lunch together. Students will bring their normal school lunch to school on the day but we will all be together outside at eating time.

This is our big fundraiser for Term One so all students are asked to bring in a gold coin donation for CARITAS.

Any questions please feel free to email me!
