Futures Day - La Trobe University / SuniTafe
Congratulations to Year 11 student Kaleb Smith, who is doing an outstanding job in his School-Based Apprenticeship through the HeadStart program. Kaleb is currently working as a landscaping apprentice with Tara Landscaping, where he is developing practical trade skills, industry knowledge, and a strong work ethic.

Opportunities like HeadStart allow students to explore career pathways while still at school, combining classroom learning with hands-on industry experience. We extend our sincere thanks to Kaleb's employer, Tom from Tara Landscaping for partnering with us to support student growth and career development.
We love to see Kaleb thriving, enjoying being on the job while still kicking goals at school. We are extremely proud of his dedication, enthusiasm, and the way he continues to balance the demands of both work and school. Supporting alternative pathways into the workforce is something we value deeply, and Kaleb is a wonderful example of how these opportunities can empower young people to succeed. Keep up the amazing work, Kaleb!
We will also be running an ADF Careers Presentation here at the school on Thursday, 26th March at 11.30 am until 12.30 pm. More information will be posted on Compass and sent via email so if students are interested in attending they can contact Linda Snoxall, Careers and Pathways Advisor linda.snoxall@education.vic.gov.au
