Student Welbeing

On the evening of Tuesday 18 February, Student Services, Nillumbik Council and Body Safety Australia provided an information session to Eltham High parents and carers, where we discussed topics such as affirmative consent, respectful relationships, digital technology, and laws around sharing and reporting image-based abuse.

There were over 90 registrations and around 65 attendees who participated in the Q&A and discussions. Feedback received was overwhelmingly positive, and although the session was not recorded, all registered participants received copies of slides, Q&A and additional resources, as well as some fantastic tips and links that were discussed throughout the presentation from Body Safety Australia.

We hope that this session provided some assurance and support to families of our Eltham High students in addressing this difficult issue facing our teens today.
