Aberfoyle Park High School Shines in Year 9/10 Girls Knockout Tennis Competition

On Monday 4 November, four students from Aberfoyle Park High School showcased their skills in the Year 9/10 Girls Knockout Tennis competition. The event saw our team competing against Adelaide High and Brighton Secondary School in a thrilling knockout round.

Our team, comprising Dallas, Zoe H, Zoe B, and Amelia, represented Aberfoyle Park High School with dedication and sportsmanship. Despite the challenging competition, they emerged victorious, securing the overall win for the day.

This outstanding achievement means that our team will advance to the finals, which are scheduled to take place in a couple of weeks at Tea Tree Gully Tennis Club. 

We are proud of Dallas, Zoe H, Zoe B, and Amelia for their hard work and determination. Stay tuned for more updates as our team prepares for the Finals.

Congratulations to Benny Barrett

Benny Barrett, a 2023 Year 12 student from APHS, has been selected by Port Adelaide Football Club in the 2024 AFL Rookie Draft on Friday, 22 November.

Benny has an impressive track record, having represented South Australia at the Under 16 and Under 18 State Championships, won the 2023 Under 18 SANFL Premiership with South Adelaide Football Club, and played Senior SANFL Football for South Adelaide Football Club.

We wish Benny all the best as he embarks on this exciting new chapter in his football career.
