Interview with Brenda

What do you enjoy about Bittern Primary School?

I love working with children. I like that at Bittern there is a real sense of community and an encouraging environment, because when we are at sporting events our students always cheer everyone home.

How many years have you worked at Bittern Primary School for?

I have worked at Bittern Primary School for 19 years but before that I worked here voluntarily for two years.

What class do you work with the most?

I work with 5/6A most days when I am not doing Hands on Learning or gardening.

What do you think that we should add to Bittern Primary School?

I would love to see the Kitchen Garden program come back so that we can cook what we grow.

Do you enjoy working in Hands on Learning?

Very much so, I enjoy working with the kids to help them achieve their planning goals.

How do you spend your free time?

I love gardening and spending time with my family.

What are your interests?

I love camping, bush walking, and spending time with my family and friends.
