Grade 1/2

The Junior School has had another busy couple of weeks. Students participated in National Simultaneous Story time, reading the beautiful book "Bowerbird Blues" by Aura Parker. We used this as inspiration for our own writing and craft in class. 

In Science we examined the forces of push and pull by creating our own bubble wands. We had great fun experimenting with ways to make the biggest bubbles. 

In Maths we focused on counting large collections. Students were challenged to group pom poms into groups of 10 and then try to calculate the total.
