Poldiing Winter Trial Results

Well done to all our students who attended Polding Winter Trials in Tamworth last Friday as members of our Armidale Diocesan teams in Football, League and Netball. A great day was had by everyone and many new friendships were made across the Diocese. Congratulations to Jack Sweeney who was selected into the Polding Football side to compete at the PSSA Carnival in August.

Jump Rope For heart

Jump Rope for Heart kicks off this term at Holy Trinity! Jump Rope for Heart is the Heart Foundation’s Primary School skipping challenge that helps kids move more, have fun, and raise funds for life-saving research and programs. 

Our launch also coincides with Australia's National Heart Awareness Week. This provides an opportunity for the Australian public and health professionals to start a conversation about heart health and take positive steps to reduce their heart disease risk. This Heart Week, the Heart Foundation is encouraging everyday Australians to never miss a beat by speaking to their GP about a Heart Health Check.

This helps raise valuable funds for research and those who are affected by heart disease. You can share their online fundraising page with family and friends to help raise money for this great cause. Students will be skipping throughout the term in PE lessons and during their breaks. 

We will hold our school Jump Off Day on Friday 31 May. This will mark the end of the program and is a chance for everyone to come together to skip and show off their newly learned skills. Thank you for supporting the Jump Rope for Heart program!
