Year 7 Zoo Visit

Late in Term 3, our Year 7 cohort visited Melbourne Zoo for an in-depth look into their Classifications and Adaptations Science unit. Students participated in a workshop that allowed them to further explore some of the adaptations in the animal world, including structural and behavioural adaptations of animals, how to observe, group and classify animals, food webs and food chains of living things, the impacts of humans on places, habitats and ecosystems and actions that help to care for local wildlife.
