Tuning into Teens
Free Parenting Program: Tuning into Teens at headspace Ballarat
The adolescent years can be challenging to navigate, and keeping a strong connection with your teenager isn’t always easy. To support our school community, we highly recommend the Tuning into Teens program, an evidence-based, free 6-week parenting program hosted in person at headspace Ballarat.
This program focuses on "emotion coaching" — helping parents understand their teen’s emotional needs and teaching teens how to manage difficult emotions like anxiety, anger, or sadness.
Through this program, you will learn how to:
Communicate more effectively and build a stronger relationship with your teen.
Help your teenager navigate peer pressure and resolve conflicts.
Support your young person to regulate their emotions and build long-term resilience.
