Message From Our Principal 

It’s hard to believe we’re already halfway through Term 4! The past few weeks have been filled with learning, excitement, and plenty of special events across the school. Our students continue to work hard as we head toward the final weeks of the school year, and staff are busy preparing Semester 2 reports and wrapping up assessment. With lots still happening over the next few weeks — including excursions, celebrations, and graduation preparations — it’s a great time to pause and appreciate the effort and energy that everyone is putting in to make the end of the year so positive and productive.

As we begin preparing for the 2026 school year, I am pleased to share with you our class structure and teaching team for next year. We are very fortunate to have a strong, committed, and highly skilled group of educators who bring a wide range of strengths and passions to their teaching. Each teacher has been thoughtfully placed to ensure continuity, balance, and the best possible learning outcomes for all students.

We are incredibly proud of the team we have in place for 2026 and are confident that our students will continue to thrive under their care and guidance. Thank you for your continued support as we look forward to another exciting year of learning and growth at St Patrick’s.

On Orientation Day, Tuesday the 9th of December, your child will spend time in their new

classroom with their new teacher.

We are thrilled to share the wonderful news that Sean and his wife Rach have welcomed a beautiful baby boy, Louie, into their family! Both mum and bub are doing well, and we couldn’t be happier for them. On behalf of the entire St Patrick’s community, we send our warmest congratulations and best wishes as they settle into life as a family of three. 💙

This week, we farewell Miss Erin Emmett as she begins her maternity leave. Erin has been an incredible part of our St Patrick’s team — her dedication, care, and passion for teaching have had such a positive impact on our students, families, and staff. We wish Erin and her partner all the very best as they prepare to welcome their little one into the world. While we will miss her presence around the school, we are so excited for this next chapter in her life. 💙

Lest We Forget 

On Tuesday, our Grade 4-6 students and staff proudly attended the Tongala Remembrance Service to honour the bravery and sacrifice of those who have served our country.

It was a moving ceremony that reminded us of the importance of remembering those who gave so much for the freedoms we enjoy today. Our students represented the school with respect and gratitude, laying a wreath and reflecting on the meaning of Remembrance Day.

 “At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.”

On Tuesday night we welcomed our 2026 Foundation families to our Information Night. It was a wonderful opportunity to share important details about school life at St Patrick’s and to help families feel prepared for the exciting year ahead. We loved seeing the enthusiasm from our new students and their families as they begin their journey with us. A big thank you to our staff for their time and effort in making the evening such an informative and welcoming event. It was also an opportunity for families to meet our new Foundation teacher Amie Fleming.

We’re excited to share that our new St Patrick’s School hoodies are now available for purchase from Hip Pocket in Echuca. These hoodies are a great option for the cooler months — warm, comfortable, and perfect for showing your St Pat’s pride! Families can visit Hip Pocket directly to purchase. Please note that the hoodies are an optional uniform item and can be worn in place of the school jumper on cooler days.
