Applications for the 2024 C.A.S. Hawker Scholarships open on Monday 4th December and close on Friday 5th January 2024.

C.A.S. Hawker Scholarships are one of the most generous privately funded scholarships available to undergraduate students in Australia. Each residential scholarship is valued at up to $60,000 over three years. The scholarships are available to all Australian students. The majority have been awarded to students entering their first year of university studies.

Selection is largely based on personal qualities and demonstrated leadership as well as academic ability. Undergraduate Hawker Scholars are able to attend a range of Australian educational institutions.

The scholarship perpetuates the memory of scholar, soldier, pastoralist and statesman Charles Allan Seymour Hawker.

About the service

Little Bear is a small community based long day care service. The service is licensed for 25 children per day from 8:00am to 6:00pm. We pride ourselves in meaningful relationships with families and children.

To be considered for this position, applicants must have the following:

1. Qualified Diploma or Certificate 3 or willingness to obtain

2. Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificate/s

3. WWCC number

Essential Criteria:

*A passion for developing, planning and implementing an innovative educational program with a commitment to inclusive early childhood practice and social justice.

*A sound understanding of the National Quality Framework, including National Law & Regulations, National Quality Standard, and the Early Years Learning Framework.

*A commitment to empowering, respecting and protecting children and young people through the provision of child safe environments.

*Excellent communication skills

*Computer literacy
