Last week Marie and Sarah from Vermont south Bunnings came to VSC with lots of edible native plants to begin our new garden. Year 8 students got involved by digging up the garden, preparing the soil and learning about all the different native herbs and how they are used in cooking. Thank you to Marie for assisting us to incorporate Indigenous native plants to our Vermont community.
Year 10 Food studies are investigating the properties of sugar this term. They have really loved making the marshmallows.
