F/1/2 CLASSROOM

100 Days of School & Mary MacKillop Celebration

Last Wednesday was a wonderful day of celebration as our F/1/2 students marked 100 days of school. The joy was shared by students, teachers, parents, and grandparents, creating a beautiful reflection of how our community values growth and learning.

For our Foundation students, each new letter continues to be an exciting milestone, while our Grade One and Two students are mastering rhythmic tunes that help them remember key concepts such as digraphs, trigraphs, grammar rules, and new ideas in learning.

We also congratulate all students for their attentiveness and reverence during last Friday’s Mass in honour of Mary MacKillop. This was a joyful and meaningful celebration, concluding a period of classroom learning about Mary’s life and legacy.

Don’t be surprised if your child suggests a trip to Brunswick to see the plaque marking the site of Mary MacKillop’s family home — a tangible connection to the history they have been exploring.
