Learning & Innovation

Learning is a lifelong process.”

—  Peter Drucker

As the HSC exams draw near, we extend our heartfelt best wishes to each and every student in the Class of 2026. Reaching this milestone is a testament to your perseverance and effort across the year; and you should be immensely proud of your progress.

With the HSC exams commencing on Tuesday the 13th of October, maximising the upcoming break will be key to your success. Treat this time as a strategic window to review core concepts, refine your test-taking approaches, and lock in your preparation. Staying disciplined with a structured routine while prioritising proper rest will keep you performing at your peak. Remember that your teachers remain fully available to assist with last-minute questions, targeted feedback, or a boost of confidence; be sure to lean on them.

To our rising seniors, Year 11, your final year is just around the corner. Take advantage of the break to mentally prepare for the road ahead and re-engage with your goals.

At-Home Learning & Academic Support Tools

To help maintain strong study routines beyond the classroom, we encourage families to utilise the following key platforms:

  • Study Skills Handbook: An interactive portal featuring self-paced modules to help students sharpen time management, research skills, essay planning, and presentation delivery.
  • Elevate Education Partnership: Throughout the year, Elevate delivers practical workshops focused on high-impact study techniques, note-taking, and exam readiness. They also provide dedicated materials to help parents guide their children through senior academic demands.

On a personal note, this will be my final newsletter contribution as I prepare to embark on a new chapter beyond Brigidine College. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all our parents, guardians, and families for your incredible support and partnership over the years. To our students, I wish you every success, fulfillment, and happiness in 2026 and beyond. It has been an absolute privilege and honour to serve as part of the College leadership team for the past three years; and I will deeply miss this wonderful community.
