Grade 3 News

Our Grade 3 students enjoyed a wonderful nature sensory activity this week!
With our Grade 5 buddies away at camp, the Grade 3 students headed outside to collect natural materials such as leaves, sticks, flowers and other treasures from our school environment. Working independently, in pairs and in small teams, students used their creativity and imagination to transform their collections into beautiful scenic artworks on white paper.
It was wonderful to see students collaborating, experimenting with different textures and elements, and thinking creatively about how they could use nature to bring their pictures to life.
The activity was a huge hit and provided a fantastic opportunity for students to connect with nature, work together and express themselves creatively. What a beautiful way to spend some time outdoors!
